Dear Sister Zontians:
Happy 2008! I am looking forward to another wonderful year working with all of you. We capped off 2007 with a wonderful Holiday party at the Minneapolis Woman's Club, thanks to Jerrie Hayes’ great organizational skills! Many thanks to Jerrie and to all who made time during the busy Holiday season to attend.

We are moving forward with our beneficiary applicationprocess. Brenda, Marie, and Michelle have
arranged for an announcement to be published in the MN Women's Consortium electronic newsletter and the application form has been posted on our web site. I ask all members to think of organizations who might be a good fit and direct them to our web site for application materials.

I have started my Feminist Leadership Fellowship at the Center on Women and Public Policy at the Humphrey Institute of Public Affairs. I met a wonderful group of 20 women who are executive directors of non-profits, many of whom direct organizations whose missions are closely aligned with ours. I am looking forward to learning more about how we as Zontians can contribute to the shared mission. I am looking forward to the BOLD! presentation, which may happen before you receive this newsletter (thanks to my late submission). Many thanks to Patty and Ann Ulrich for making this great connection between us and WAND!
